Pomegranate Sauce with Spinach & Cheese Ravioli

Give your pasta a tangy, fruity kick with this unexpected sauce! The pomegranate and orange offer the perfect balance for pasta making for a perfect dish for those in-between seasons.


1 package Taste Republic spinach & cheese ravioli or Red Lentil Fusili

2 tbsp olive oil

1 medium red onion, diced

1 bunch kale, chopped

1/4 tsp salt and pepper

3 tbsp pomegranate molasses (available on Amazon, at Middle Eastern or specialty grocers like Whole Foods, or make your own)

1 tbsp orange zest

Pomegranate seeds, for garnish


Cook pasta according to package directions and set aside.

Heat a large saute pan to medium-high, add olive oil, and saute red onion until translucent.

Add kale and cook for about 5 minutes.

Toss pasta into the kale and onion mixture.

Add salt, pepper, orange zest, and pomegranate molasses. Stir to coat, and top with pomegranate seeds. Serve and enjoy!
