High Protein Vegan + Gluten Free Fettuccine

Love the taste of alfredo but not the heaviness or the dairy? We swapped out traditional Alfredo sauce for a high protein, vegan option that pairs perfectly with our Gluten-Free Fettuccine.

High Protein Alfredo Ingredients
Taste Republic Gluten-Free Fettuccine
300g soft tofu

1 teaspoon garlic minced (about 2 cloves)
1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon salt
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ cup nutritional yeast (can also substitute with shredded cheese)
Pinch of red pepper flakes
1/2 tbsp olive oil

Directions
Blend all ingredients except the pasta and olive oil in a blender or food processor until smooth and creamy and set aside.


Cook Fettuccine according to package instructions. While it’s cooking, add the blended sauce to a sauce pan with 1/2 tbsp of olive oil and warm over medium heat. Add cooked pasta and stir to combine. Plate, serve, and enjoy.
