Beef Mixture
1 lb ground beef
1 tsp Jamaican curry powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 yellow onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
Yogurt Sauce
2 cups Greek yogurt
2 cloves garlic, minced
Zest of 1 lemon
Juice of half a lemon
1 tsp black pepper
2 tsp salt
Butter Drizzle
4 tbsp melted butter
2 tsp paprika
½ tsp salt
Garnish
½ cup cherry tomatoes, halved
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart with a spoon. Stir in the Jamaican curry powder, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes until fragrant.
Add the diced yellow onion and minced garlic to the beef mixture, cooking until softened (about 3 minutes). Lower the heat, cover, and let it sit while you prepare the rest of the dish.
For the yogurt sauce, combine Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, black pepper, and salt in a bowl. Stir until smooth.
Chop the cherry tomatoes and fresh parsley, setting them aside for garnish.
