Kale Pesto Pea Pasta

This light and refreshing twist on a classic pesto is one of the tastiest ways to get your greens! Keep it vegetarian friendly by enjoying as-is, or add your favorite protein for an even heartier meal.


  • 1 package Taste Republic Fusilli
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • 3 de-stemmed large kale leaves
  • 1-2 cloves garlic (optional)
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup avocado oil


To make the pesto, blend pine nuts, basil leaves, kale leaves, garlic, lime, salt, and avocado oil together in a food processor.

Place pasta and peas in boiling water for three minutes or until cooked to desired texture. Strain pasta and peas and toss with the pesto sauce. Enjoy!
