Miso Butter Egg Noodles with Bacon, Kimchi & Eggs

Consider this your sign to put noodles on the breakfast rotation. Savory miso butter, crispy bacon, tangy kimchi, and a runny yolk make this bowl perfect for a hearty morning meal or an easy bowl any time of day.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Taste Republic Egg Noodles
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp white miso paste
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp soy sauce or tamari
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup kimchi, roughly chopped
  • Chopped scallions, for garnish
  • Black sesame seeds, for garnish

Directions

Cook egg noodles according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the miso paste and soy sauce until combined.

Add the minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Toss the cooked noodles in the miso butter sauce until evenly coated.

In a separate pan, fry the egg to your liking — runny yolk highly recommended.

Plate the noodles and top with bacon and kimchi. Add the fried egg on top and garnish with scallions and black sesame seeds.
