Gluten-Free Vietnamese Bolognese

The epitome of indulgent health, made by @theblogofsalt. She used our Gluten-Free Linguini to create her Vietnamese Bolognese, and she’s been kind enough to share her recipe!


Ingredients

1 package Taste Republic Gluten-Free Linguini
1 lb ground beef
1 lb ground pork
1/2 cup diced mushrooms
1 cup diced onion
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup finely diced celery
1 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp of oregano
2 large cans whole peeled tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp liquid seasoning
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup heavy cream


Directions

1) Add ground pork and ground beef to a pot, ender the fat, and discard. Once ground meat has browned, add mushrooms, onions, celery, and carrots. Season with salt, fish sauce, liquid seasoning, sugar, oregano and black pepper. Cook everything together until the veggies are soft and tender.

2) Add whole peeled tomatoes and mash it up with a large spoon so it becomes a sauce. Adjust seasoning as necessary and add 1 tbsp of olive oil. Let sauce simmer on low-medium heat with lid slightly on for about 30 minutes.

3) Add fresh minced garlic and 1/3-1/2 cup of heavy cream. Adjust seasoning to your liking.

4) Boil some water. Add 1 pack of Taste Republic linguini and cook for 3 minutes. Reserve some pasta water. Drain pasta and rinse.

5) Heat up the sauce and add fresh pasta to the sauce and stir the two together. Serve with some grated Parmesan and enjoy!
