Cheesy Gluten-Free Tortelloni and Broccoli Ingredients
1 package Taste Republic Gluten-Free Four Cheese Tortelloni
2 tbsp chopped or minced garlic
¼ cup chopped white onion
1 ½ cups finely chopped broccoli
½ tbsp butter
½ cup heavy cream
½ cup reserved pasta water
¾ cup Parmesan cheese
Cheesy Gluten-Free Tortelloni and Broccoli Instructions
Prepare the ingredients: Chop the garlic, onion, and broccoli. Set aside.
Sauté the aromatics: In a pan over medium heat, melt the butter, then add the garlic. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the onion and cook for 5 minutes until soft and translucent. Stir in the broccoli and let it simmer for another 5 minutes.
Cook the pasta: Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the tortelloni according to the package instructions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
Make the sauce: Pour the heavy cream into the pan with the broccoli mixture and let it simmer over medium heat. Stir in the reserved pasta water and Parmesan cheese, mixing until well combined.
Combine and finish: Gently fold in the cooked tortelloni, reduce the heat to low, and cover the pan with a lid. Let it rest for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
